Cyber Law is defined as a bundle of decisions and acts which a Cyber Law Analyst undertakes and which decides the result of the firm’s cyber security strategy. This course covers various areas in securing against internet-related offenses.

It covers important areas in the electronic signature, UNCITRAL, attribution, acknowledgment, and dispatch of electronic records, certifying authority, IPR protection, international organization, COE, IT Act, and judicial review.

Cyber law is studied by students who wish to pursue careers in the field of legal activities like lawyers, legal advisors, legal executives, or jobs in police departments, information technology companies, corporate houses, and many more.

Eligibility Criteria for Cyber law

1. Certificate:10+2 level of education from a recognized institute

2. Diploma: After completion of the 12th standard

3. PG Diploma: Bachelor's degree in any discipline

4. UG: For LLB course one must be graduated in BA LLB program or equivalent course

5. PG: Bachelor's degree in LLB or any equivalent law course

6. Doctorate: Masters in LLM or any equivalent course

Admission process

1. One cannot study civil law after class 12 as it is not offered in India in any undergraduate course.

2. The students have to enroll themselves in the LLB program. For the LLB course of 3 years, the candidates have to score a minimum of 45% marks in the class 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

3. For admission into the BA LLB course of 5 years, the criteria remain the same. However, there is a relaxation in the marks percentage for reserved category students.
